SHE trapped – Episode 9 by Ngozi Lovelyn
“I trusted you.” Unku interrupted, getting fed up with us
“I thought I have seen the woman I will be spending the rest of my life with. So, you are just one of them. And the virgin you claimed you were was also a lie?” Unku asked, looking disappointed.
“Unku, you have to believe me, I’m telling you the truth, I can prove to you that Omeogor had just deflowered me. I will prove that to you, just wait”
So I checked the sheets to see if there will be stains of blood, I also checked my pant, but there was no trace of blood. I don’t know how he did it. At least, there was supposed to be a stain of blood after the hymen got broken, but I don’t know what happened. And that was the only proof that would have saved me and made Unku realize that I was telling the truth. I was left with no option. And looking at Unku’s face, he was getting fed up watching the drama
“Omeogor, please I beg you in the name of God, tell Unku the truth. Tell him the truth” I asked in between tears
“But I have said the entire truth or do you want me to lie, Adaku?” Omeogor asked
“I want you to quietly leave my house or I push you out myself” Unku quietly instructed, looking disappointed and hurt
So I left myself on the floor begging, crying on top of my voices.
So he quietly sat on the floor, giving me a fixed sad look.
He truly loved me for him to be feeling like that. I never knew that a man could release a tear, but he did. He had already built his hopes around me.
So, I began believing in all the promises he made to me.
On several occasions, he professed that he loved me, that he was convinced that I was the one for him. He meant all those words.
Then, I was already drenched in tears, pleading my heart out. Omeogor stood motionless by the corner, watching.
I then got an idea.
I requested him to follow me to the hospital and have me examined by the doctors, that they will help him confirm my claims.
