Occult Spirit Battle – episode 24 by Ngozi Lovelyn
After Damian was flung over, Pris’ continued laughing, watching and enjoying the frustration playing on his face.
“Why are you hurting him? Stop!” Prisca commanded in a challenging manner, making Pris to swift her head to her direction and fixed a furious look on her.
Prisca got startled, but maintained cool, since she was her own spirit and that, she won’t hurt her.
So, she returned the gaze, boldly.
Damian took the moment Prisca was still looking at Pris to call Okongwu.
The phone was ringing and he remained anxious, waiting for him to answer so he can tell him that the spirit was there. But Okongwu didn’t respond.
He already knew that the spirit was there and was already tormenting him.
So he intentionally refused to answer him, so that, he doesn’t establish a connection with him, leading the angry spirit to where they were.
So, Damian typed a text in speed fingers and sent to him, but he still did not respond to him.
Prisca was standing in front of Pris who was still looking back at her.
“For balance to be restored, his life must be taken. We can’t save you without him paying with his life. Otherwise, you are going to remain like this till eternity, a living dead. There is no punishment more than that. This is his wish for you. He never loved you and you are still defending him? Your mother sacrificed her two eyes so she can join the spirit world to fight from there, and you are still defending this man? If he doesn’t die tonight, your mother is going to remain stuck there forever, and that is a place I’m not even wishing for my enemy, because her soul will remain wandering for eternity, and you are still defending this demon? Everybody is fighting for you and you are here fighting to save him, are you Ok? Your mother did so much for you and this is how you are behaving? She will be so heartbroken seeing you right now. Don’t make her sacrifice go to a waste”
Damian was watching Prisca, standing motionless, he knew that she and the spirit must be in a very serious conservation, hence her motionless expression. He continued staring at her, knowing that she won’t allow the spirit to hurt him. That even if the spirit struggles to, that Prisca won’t allow her, because she falls under her commands.
“The spirit is under the command of the person who is under my command. Well, this is satisfying. I am going to order Prisca to send her back to wherever she came from and never to come back.” He felt relieved and then, laid on the bed, waiting for them to finish whatever they were doing, because he had the control to change everything.
Prisca was speechless, hearing that her mother lost her sight just for her. She hated her self the more for believing that, true love exist and that Damian was her true love.
“And now it’s too late. I am already dead. She wasted her eyes for nothing. I am such an unfortunate child” Prisca regretted, weeping silently.
And Pris understood her emotion.
“Your mother may have taken away your wills of commanding me, but that doesn’t mean that, you no longer have some effect on me. I am bound to you, which means, you still have some level of influence. In other to achieve my purpose of coming here, you must stop interfering”
“You know I can’t. His wish is now my command and I can’t fight it. Is there a way I can stop him from getting to me? I mean, forcing me to do things?” Prisca asked silently, preventing Damian from hearing her
“Yes, there is. The power is in his voice. Go to the parlour, shut the door and never open it. Turn on the music to a loud volume, concentrate on the music and distract yourself from hearing any voices. Leave now before he notices what is going on”
“No, I can’t leave like this, otherwise he will suspect something and calls me before I even get the chance to turn on the music.” she said and headed towards Damian and said, “She is refusing to leave, so let me go back to the alter and command her to return to wherever she came from”
“Looks like you already knew what is in my mind. Do it and be very fast about it.”
And Prisca left. But when she turned to leave the room, Pris was no longer there, she then thought that, maybe she was getting ready for the task ahead. She then went to the parlour and did as she was instructed.
