“Did you not hear what I said? I said, teach this useless girl a lesson for insulting your queen” Ujuaku repeated in a very harsh tone
And this nudged Ndubuisi’s head, as he blinked, interrupting the connection he was maintaining with Ogechi.
He then started hearing only Ujuaku’s voice to maltreat Ogechi.
As his heavy hand descended on Ogechi, she screamed in pain and called out his name.
And Ndubuisi got electrified. The connection between her and Ogechi took over again and he staggered back to Ujuaku.
“My Queen, I don’t know what is happening, I tried carrying out your order, but something is stopping me, I am sorry I failed you, my queen”

“Don’t be stupid. There won’t be any food for you for 3 days if you refuse to do what I ask you. Destroy her! Now!” Ujuaku demanded, reigniting her effect on him

Okwuchi couldn’t stop crying, watching what her son was reduced to.
“Okwa mu mere onwem o”(I caused this myself) O kam siri jee? Ujuaku, do you realize you are asking my son to commit murder? Because, there is no way, Ogechi would be surviving what you are asking him to. And he will be spending the rest of his life in prison. You have to reconsider this”

“For now, Ogechi needs to be eradicated. I will worry about your son’s life later. Stop wasting my time Ndubuisi” Ujuaku’s voice roared deep inside Ndubuisi’s head as he started staggering towards Ogechi again. His head continued jerking sharply.

“My love, remember I am your wife, your one true wife. I know you are still in there. Now listen to me, concentrate on that true love that bind us together. That feeling that stopped you from hitting me. Listen and concentrate on it, it will guide you. Don’t allow this evil stranger to destroy your precious Ogechi.” Ogechi said, trusting in the true feelings she had, inciting Ndubuisi to control whatever was happening in his heart.

“Keep talking all you want, because soon, you won’t be making use of that your tongue again. You are under my mercy and there is no one here to save you” Ujuaku taunted Ogechi who was concentrating her eyes on Ndubuisi

Ujuaku believed so much in her powers. She trusted that, she would be exerting much influence on Ndubuisi forever, but little did she know that, true love is the greatest charm of all. The love Ndubuisi and Ogechi shared was interfering with whatever she did on him.

And just then, Ndubuisi started convulsing aggressively.
And Ogechi got scared, watching him shaking terribly.
Ujuaku tried understanding what was happening as confusion filled her head.
“Ndubuisi? My son” Okwuchi who was still on the floor, screamed, as fears circulated her entire body. She tried rushing to hold him, but Ndubuisi fell hard to his knees, right in front of Ogechi.
“Save me” he managed to say and fell into her arms, unconscious.

Ogechi wrapped him tight, as her tears flowed freely.
“Nothing will happen to you my love. I am here, I’m not going away” she whispered, still holding him tight

“Is he dead?” Okwuchi screamed in fear, thinking that Ndubuisi was dead. “You killed him! You killed my only son!! Hei!!!

Ujuaku got confused with everything.
“If he is dead, that means, I am in trouble. I didn’t see this coming” she said, thinking hard on what next to do
