Ella Flounced back into the party and sighted Rose all over Jide. She removed her gaze from them, returning to Liz who was already feeling bored.
“Where have you been?” Liz asked
But Ella didn’t respond to that, she was busy with her thought.
Liz continued “You left me, that young man also left me. This party is boring”
“I know, but I’m about to make it more interesting”
“How?”
“Keep watching” Ella replied
“That guy, Siv. Seems he is interested in you”
“Yea, I’m beginning to notice that.”
“But I like him, do you mind if I have him?”
“You are asking as if I’m already into him. You can have him”
“But he doesn’t find me interesting, I have tried”
“You haven’t tried enough. Be brave and shoot your shot, just like I’m about to do now”
“Ow, you are still on that” Liz said, focusing her look on Jide. She found him busy with Rose, as they were seriously on each other’s arms. She then grabbed a bottle of liquor, to drink herself to stupor, so that she doesn’t feel anything that will be happening with Ella during the proposal.
But Ella stopped her.
“Are you trying to get yourself drunk? Who is going to cover my big moment? I need you to be fully sober and not miss a thing” Ella requested as her eyes caught Siv, walking back inside
“You know what? I’m going to borrow your boyfriend for some minutes” Ella said, fixing a look with Siv who was approaching her direction.
And Liz turned to see who she was referring to.
“Now tell me what other plans you have in that crazy head of yours?” Loz asked
“You will soon find out. I’m about to play a game now” Ella replied, looking very serious.
“Oh dear…….can this night ever end?” Liz asked her wondering self, trying to understand the next game Ella had on her plate
