My Wicked Him – Episode 8 by Ngozi Lovelyn
“You are not going anywhere. You are my bestie and my camera woman. You are going to cover everything when I start proposing and I don’t want any moment to be found missing.” Ella said, playfully dragging Liz back to the party
“I hate you Ella. I hate you. I won’t forgive you for making me feel this anxious” Liz said, walking along Ella who held her firmly
When they got inside, Ella scanned the room for Jide, but couldn’t find him.
Siv was just watching her, understanding everything that was happening.
In order to control the tension foaming in her heart, Liz decided to engage Siv into a conversation.
“Hello……Do you have a girlfriend?”
And Siv fired her a serious look, wondering why the unusual question.
But Liz was still maintaining her questioning look, expecting a response
“No, I don’t. I’m single and seriously searching”
“That’s make the two of us then. Care for a dance?” Liz asked, shaking
Siv paused, observing her look and then said “Ok”
And Liz moved closer to him as they started dancing.
“Are you ok?” Siv asked, after noticing how she was speaking, rushing her words, panting in between.
“I’m fine, just my girlfriend. She is dipping me into a difficult situation”
“Is she alright?”
“She is fine. But she is about to do something so bizarre, crazy, ridiculous and unbelievable. I’m not feeling too good, seriously. I have never been this scared all my life. I wish I can talk her out if this. But she is hell bent on having it her way” Liz said, sweating nervously
“Ok, can you calm down and tell me what it is?” Siv got intrigued to finding out what it was Ella was planning that was making Liz that nervous
“You see, I love her like a sister and i know her like a book. She hardly handles rejection. And she is going to feel destroyed if she goes through with this. I already know what his response would be if she goes ahead with this craziness”
“He? Whose he?” Siv got more curious to understanding what Ella was planning to do. “Please tell me, perhaps, I can be of help. Trust me” Siv sounded so serious, eager to understand and help with whatever it was Ella was planning
