My Life After I Put This Inside My Husband’s Pillow – Part 15
I was in the room, anxiously thinking about what I did when my husband entered and started apologising.
He started recounting how everything started. How he met a lady, whom he gave her name as, Gabriella.
According to him, he fell madly inlove with her and was even planning to marry her. He said he already made up his mind to divorce me and bring in his new wife, but his conscience wasn’t too strong, because I was a good woman and doesn’t give him trouble.
That he was eventually going to divorce me, but was actually waiting for the right time to hit it.
“But I don’t know what happened. I woke up and all of a sudden, I started searching for you. My hatred for the other woman grew even stronger. It was like a magic.”
He said, looking confused. Though he was feeling sorry, but the confusion on his face was crystal visible. He was looking dumb, wondering what happened and why his hatred for me switched to love, just in a twinkle of an eye.
So he continued, “I am sorry for all the stress I put you through. I promise you, I will be the husband you want me to be, starting from this moment”
“but what about the other woman?” I asked
“She is insignificant. In fact, I’m going to end everything about us this morning. Just watch”
He went and got his phone.
In my presence, he dialed Gabriella’s cellphone number and it started ringing.
“Just watch me, I’m going to end my chapter with her, you will see” He added, while waiting for the girl to answer. He was creating serious efforts to please me
“See, the reason I called you this morning is to tell you that, I’m no longer interested in us. It’s over between us. I’m hurting my pretty wife, who is even better than you in every way. It’s over and don’t call me again. I don’t even know what I saw in you. Pls it’s over”
I could hear the girl, trying to speak from her own end, but he didn’t give her the chance. He hung up.
My husband apologised from the depth of his heart, saying that he was misled, that it wasn’t his intention.
I forgave him immediately. I don’t have a choice but to forgive him. It was a beautiful day, as our love rekindled.
But little did I know that, what I did was about changing my life. I should have known that, whatever that is not from God will always have it’s consequences. I used my own delicate hands, to create issues for myself. I hope every woman is reading this story. A lot to learn. Desperation shouldn’t push you into doing things you may end up regretting.
