My Life After I Put This Inside My Husband’s Pillow – Part 4
I barged into the room and met him sleeping soundly. I tapped him, demanding he wake up, that we really need to talk.
He ignored me, continued shutting his eyes in sleep.
But I persisted, and yelled that, I won’t allow him to sleep peacefully until we iron out the differences that were trying to tear our marriage apart.
“Listen, if you haven’t noticed, I had a very hectic day today. Just carry yourself away from here, please” he demanded in a weak harsh tone
You can imagine that. My husband said, I should carry my self away from our room? The room we shared to together. The room, where our 3 beautiful kids were conceived. This is to prove to you the level the matter had reached.
But I persisted. I was determined never to keep silence again. He must tell me my crimes, because the only possible tool to resolving any issue is through communication. He must communicate with me.
I kept tapping him, but this time, a little bit aggressively, in order to force sleep off his eyes. He is my husband and I have right on him.
He could no longer take my incessant behaviour and out of anger, he dragged me out of the room and shut the door. He slammed it so hard, making the kids to run out, to find out what was happening. And they stood confused, watching me on the floor.
I saw the confusion on their faces, wondering what happened and why the door made so much noise and what I was doing on the floor.
“Mummy, did you fall down?” my first born, asked, walking to me, trying to help me stand up. My heart was getting heavy and I allowed my tears streamed down. I drew them close and hugged them so tight, as my tears continued flowing freely. My last child, used her tiny fingers and started wiping my tears.
“Sorry mummy, be a big girl” she kept petting me to stop crying
It was a good thing they didn’t witness what their father did to me, they would have hated him for handling their mother in that aggressive manner.
