My Wicked Him – Episode 26 by Ngozi Lovelyn
Liz was almost at the street that led to Jide’s house.
She found her phone ringing. Immediately she tapped it, she heard Ella panting in between her words.
“Hey…babe, calm down, I can barely hear you”
“Where are you at the moment?” Ella asked, fastly walking down the stairs
“I’m almost with you.”
“I mean, where are you right now?”
“In the street already. I’m in front of that woman’s salon”
“Ok…wait for me there, I will join you”
“Ok…..but is everything alright?”
“I will explain when I get there” Ella said, disconnecting the call
And Liz tried to see if she could decipher what was going on and why she was stopping her from reaching Jide’s house, but none came to her mind… She then found a spot and waited for her.
Few minutes later, she sighted Ella scooting down to her direction.
“Is everything alright with her?” Liz wondered, studying Ella’s face approaching her
She then starting walking to her
“Ella, what is it? What’s going on and why did you ask me to wait for you here? Did Jide do something to you?” Liz inquired hastily
“I got an idea..Siv is the one who is going to help me solve this. Follow me, pls” Ella requested, drawing Liz’s hand to follow her
“Follow you to where?” Liz got pretty curious
“I’m going to find Siv and make him swear to Jide that there is nothing between us. He caused this. Everything was his fault. He shouldn’t have brought his useless self to that party and now see the negative effect he is creating in my relationship”
And stunned looking Liz drew back her hand, asking Ella if she was ok.
“Liz, I know you won’t approve this, and trust me, I’m not seeking for your approval. Just follow me and help me beg him, please”
“Ella, seriously, you have lost it, completely.”
“This is not the time for sermon, just follow me. When we get to him, help me and beg him down” Ella requested, drawing Liz along with her
And Liz wasn’t liking the idea at all. Ella was making her do thinks she can’t even dream of doing, not even in her stupid state
