My Wicked Him – Episode 54 by Ngozi Lovelyn
“I should tell her this evening. I believe she will understand” Siv said
“Do not tell her yet. I will tell her myself”
“Are you sure you can do it? She is your friend, I don’t think you can face her with this truth. Listen Ella, I have always loved you. My love for you never died. It was so stupid of me to even grant Lizzy a chance in the first place. It was my fault, so allow me fix this.”
Ella sighed, as her heart started imagining how Liz would take it. “I just hope it doesn’t affect our friendship. She is the only friend I have. I hope she doesn’t gap herself from me”
“I will make her understand it wasn’t your fault.” Siv said, staring deep into Ella’s face. He couldn’t believe that, things were actually working out between them.
“I can’t believe I kissed you”
And Ella looked at him with a soft smile
“You really stressed me a lot. It took me all tactics to get to you, yet you couldn’t allow your heart feel my presence. You hated my sight so much”
“I was blindly inlove with that…….that” and she remembered Jide again and his threats. And her mood went sour immediately
“Hey….don’t. Don’t allow him control your emotions. You are with me now and you have every right to be happy. Ok” Siv requested, picking her left hand, pecking it.
Just then, his phone started ringing and it was Liz
And Siv exhaled hard, picking the call.
“Baby, hi…. been trying to reach you, seems you were busy”
“No, I wasn’t busy. I was at home”
“Home? You didn’t go to the office again?”
“Um, can we see this evening? There is something I would like us to discuss”
‘O k…” Liz replied, noticing the coldness in his voice. “He is sounding cold” Liz wondered
“But, is there a problem?”
“There is no problem that doesn’t have a solution. Once you are done, you let me know, Ok?”
“Alright” Liz agreed as the call ended
Liz started feeling unease “Why do I get the feeling that something bad is about to happen? Oh Lord, help me, I can’t stand another heartbreak” Liz feared, wondering why Siv sounded that way
