Ngozi Lovelyn Book Series
My Wicked Him – Episode 64 by Ngozi Lovelyn
Bisola’s father, Mr Adebayo listened to everything his daughter said and couldn’t understand her reasons for forcing herself on Siv.
“My daughter, I understand that this whole idea was stirred by us, Mr Vincent and I, but that doesn’t mean it must be binding on you. Marriage is a union of two individuals who come together and agree to be husband and wife. If Sylvester is not seeing you worthy of being his wife, I don’t understand the need of forcing him. You are my daughter, your chances of getting married to a very reputable young man is very high. Don’t force yourself on Sylvester, you are making yourself cheap.” Chief Adebayo said, trying to convince his daughter understand that the agreement he and Mr Vincent made in the course of their friendship wasn’t binding on them and thereby, mustn’t be followed
“Dad, you are getting it all wrong. It is true that my chances of getting married to a reputable young man are high, but my chances of being truly inlove with any of them is very slim. I have known Sylvester for like ages and he is the only man I can truly love and respect. Dad, I want you to use your power and influence to make this happen. Get Sylvester to marry me.”
“No Bisola, I won’t fall so low because of you. How can I force Sylvester to marry my daughter? As if I can’t get a worthy suitor for my only child? Haa..Sola!”
“Then get ready to loose your daughter”
“And what does that supposed to mean?”
“Dad, this is a matter of my heart. And I don’t see life worth living without Siv by my side. Make him my husband and I will be fine” she said, disconnecting the call
And Chief Adebayo shocked, with mouth agape listening to his daughter’s demand.
Siv had returned to Ella and they set out to have their dinner at one of the best restaurants in town.
Ella was amazed by how lovely and respected she was been treated.
She was the one who championed her relationship with Jide and had forgotten what it meant for a woman to be treated gently and warmly by a man.
Siv treated her to the dinner and she didn’t had to worry about taking care of the bills.
And this kept knocking her head, on whether Siv was actually real. Because, he was been extremely good and kind to her.
“Is he pretending to be nice? Is he for real? What if he ends up like others? Oh Lord, how do I know if he is true? How do I know if my heart is secured with him? Is he finally my last bus stop?” Ella looked on, trying to understand Siv’s true intentions towards her.
And Siv noticing her mind wasn’t there, snapped at her.
And Ella returned to reality.
“Where did you go? We are here, and you already reached London”
And Ella released a faint smile
“Still thinking about Liz?” Siv inquired
“No….thinking about the future. Fear of unknown, your true intentions and how my heart won’t bear it if you end up piercing it”
And Siv paused, fixing a look with her.
“Ok tell me, what do I do to make you believe what my heart is brewing for you?”
“Nothing. Just love me and never stop loving me”
“I don’t think that will be enough. I think I will need more to convince my Queen that her King has finally arrived for her. Only for her”
And Ella fixed him a warm look, full of passion.
“Your love is all I need and I will be yours forever”
“My Love and my entire being is all you will get, my Ella. I love you so much and I can assure you, you won’t regret opening the door of your heart for me”
And Ella got emotional, feeling Siv’s love.
“I love you, my baby”
“I love you too” Ella replied so warmly
Back at Liz, who was still shocked at the clip Jide sent to her. She then, picked her phone to call Ella, to inform her about it.
