Siv entered his car and started racing with his mind on whether he was doing the right thing.
He knew that, his father won’t be approving his marriage with Ella no matter how good and worthy she proved to him she was.
And that was why he saw it fit to allow him carry out with the test. He was convinced that, no matter what test he put Ella through, she will always pass.
“I am sorry Ella, I know you must be running confusion now, but this is for the best. This is the only way to make my father accept you into the family. I wouldn’t want you to come into my family without having my father’s love. I want everybody to love and respect you” He thought to himself, starting the engine
Ella couldn’t believe that, Siv would treat her that way. She couldn’t believe that, Siv would change because, she refused to meet his family.
“Why was he insensitive towards my feelings? I never told him that, I don’t love him. Does it mean, he doesn’t even love me enough? What’s the point of getting angry with me?” Ella felt sad, as her mind wandered on her last encounter with Siv. She then flashed on how she talked rudely to him.
“And I was too quick to fire my anger at him. I shouldn’t have reacted that way” she quickly picked her phone and started calling him.
And Siv, who was still on the steering saw the call.
He knew Ella was feeling restless over what happened and he started feeling bad about it. He was putting her under stress.
“Hello” he said
And Ella started sobbing.
And this made Siv to pull over. He thought his heart could stand it, but her tears weakened every strength he had to pulling the game with his father.
“Baby, are you crying?” he asked warmly
But she continued sobbing, she couldn’t speak. She thought Siv was breaking up with her and she doesn’t even know what to say to him.
“Stop crying my love, I’m coming back to you, Ok. You will see me now” he said, ending the call.
Siv reversed, returning to the hotel. The sound of Ella’s tears, put him off control.
