My Life After I Introduced My Girlfriend To My Mother – Episode 7
We were standing there, not knowing that danger was standing behind Dera.
Our attention was drawn when a passerby screamed “lekwa agwo!” (see snake) and Dera screamed, as we ran out from that spot.
And the long black snake crawled and entered the bush.
And my fear heightened.
So many hitches just in one journey.
Does it mean the snake was blind or something?
It wanted to cross over to the other side, why following the same direction Chidera was standing?
Had it been that woman did not see it on time, I don’t know what would have happened. It would have crawled up to her and it will be a different story.
And I started digesting what her sister said.
I then asked her about the man of God, if he was powerful, and how strong are his prophesies, if they usually come to pass.
But her heart was still shivering because of the snake that almost bit her.
She was almost traumatised because of it. She fears snake a lot and has a strong phobia for it.
The only thing she managed to ask is “Is it because of the snake you are asking me about him? Let’s not think about what he said and thank God for saving me from being attacked by something I fear most in life”
But she doesn’t understand my fears.
I was used to been dumped and I was already restless, seeing some signs of being dumped by the girl who is far better than my former lovers who broke my heart without even having a second thought.
She noticed my uneasiness and thought that, my reaction was because of what almost happened to her.
She then assured me that, she wasn’t scared again. That she is Ok.
I nodded, released a smile and held her, as we kept walking
What a lovely girl she is. She is always paying attention to my feelings, needs and always ensure that I’m happy.
“God, it really worth it allowing me go through all those heart breaks. Because you reserved the best for me. Women are truly Angels created to beautify the world. She has truly beautified my world and may this love last forever” I kept praying in my heart as we continued walking
And finally, we are home. But my mom wasn’t around.
So I asked Dera to settle, while we wait for her
And she started feeling anxious again, on whether she would be approved by my mother.
“Listen, I did not come here for my mother to accept or reject you, I only brought you for her to see the woman I have chosen to spend the rest of my life with”
And she exhaled, giving me her charming smile.
And I swore in my heart to make her happy forever
Just then, my mom returned.
‘Por pom alota oo” (My Por pom is back)
Por pom is the pet name she doesn’t want to get tired of calling me, despite telling her that I’m a grown man now, lolz
So we went to her together as I embraced her
She then looked at Dera and hugged her…..
“Nwa amaka (she is fine) Nwam, anya gi ruru ana (my son, you carefully selected well)
“You are welcome my daughter. Let’s go inside” she said, as we headed inside
I studied Dera’s face and saw her glowing in joy, that my mother accepted her.. don’t stop reading. Follow link below
