Siv was fully aware that the test was already on, but he wasn’t aware of the method his father would be using.
His father told him that, he would send a man who would attract Ella to sleep with him for a night, so he could pay her 20k.
According to him, Ella won’t be different from other girls who claim they are doing legitimate businesses.
But Siv scoffed at how low he was thinking of Ella.
“Why 20k? Even if you like, make it 1million, the Ella that I know won’t stoop so low. She is not what you are describing her to be. My Ella is not cheap, Dad” he added
And Mr Vincent chuckled
“You have so much faith in this your girlfriend.”
“Yes, that’s why I’m going to marry her”
“Well, we shall see about that”
Mrs Vincent who was no longer comfortable with all of it, had called Siv, advising him to stop whatever he was doing with his father.
She called it madness.
“Mom, you know your heart condition, why are you worrying yourself too much? Do you want to have another attack? Please, stop worrying yourself about Ella, I have so much faith in her”
“Listen my son, you know how strong my spiritual eye is? I haven’t seen Ella, but after hearing her voice, my spirit accepted her immediately. She is your God gifted wife. This test of a thing is going to be manipulated, I know your father, it won’t be a fair test. He is going to do everything in his power to make sure you marry Chief Adebayo’s daughter”
“I can not back out now and besides, it’s already in motion. We will get results by morning. I know Ella won’t disappoint me. I have faith”
Mrs Vincent was becoming anxious. She knew the test will be against Ella.
“And when that happens, my son will find it difficult trusting people again. He has so much faith and confidence in this Ella, how do I save him from his cunning father’s evil plan?” Mrs Vincent asked herself and continued
“And I don’t have her number” she then called Siv, trying to trick him into sending Ella’s mobile number to her.
But Siv was able to code her and playfully declined sending it to her.
Mr Ignatius was successfully playing his game.
As he was about leaving, he requested Ella to give him her business card.
“Incase she finally answers my call, I will send her to you, so that, she can come here and carefully select the hairs of her choice”
And Ella said ok, and gladly handed her business card to him.
“And I’m so sorry for wasting your time. I was busy, sharing my life worries, forgetting you are a busy woman…Ok take this N10,000, for wasting your time for nothing”
“Aaah, no sir. You didn’t waste my time at all. Keep your money Sir, I’m good”
“Hmm, then, have it for your lunch. You are a smart hardworking lady. I admire independent ladies a lot. So I’m supporting you with this one. Have it pls”
And Ella seeing he was insistence collected the money from him and appreciated him.
