The next day, Siv was called from the police station to be informed about the confession Jide gave in the course of his interrogation.
He mentioned that, Elizabeth whom he gave as Ella’s friend also had a copy of the video. That he sent her a clip.
And Ella was shocked to hear that.
And remembering how cold she had gone for her, she feared she might leak it.
But Siv asked her to calm down, that he got the situation under control.
“How are you going to handle it?”
“Don’t worry, I will inform you once I’m done having her delete the video. So relax, I got you on this”
And Ella nodded, believing what he said.
He then, called Liz, asking her to meet him somewhere
And the unsuspecting Liz, got elated, thinking that, Jide had finally gone through with his plan and that, Siv had finally realised she was the one for him.
And she rushed to the place, without even wasting time.
When she reached the place, she hugged him, with hope they were good.
And Siv allowed her hug him. She also pecked him, smiling happily and over excited, he still allowed her express what she was feeling at that moment.
After they remained seated, he began asking her how she was doing, business and all that..
And she kept replying, with hope they were finally good
And finally, Siv began telling her the reason he requested to see her.
“He confessed you have the video, that he sent it to you. The police almost swung in action to tracking you, but I pleaded with them to wait, that your intention may not be to blackmail Ella, that they should allow me handle you first. So, if you don’t want to meet the same fate Jide is facing now, it’s better you delete the video from wherever you have it and save your safe some trouble.”
And Liz couldn’t believe that, she was excited for nothing.
“I thought you finally realized how much I love you. I thought you have come to renew what you started with me”
“Liz, Ella is your friend, and till today, she still misses you, why can’t you learn to be happy with her?”
But Liz didn’t respond to that. She brought out her phone, located the video.
As she tried to delete it, she decided to show it to him.
“Maybe, seeing this video will somehow alter what ever feeling he has for her. No man stands it, seeing his woman with another man and especially not in this manner. I guess this should have some effect”
