Home alone with Jude’s mother – The end
I couldn’t take it, it was a very serious accusation which may affect my relationship with Jude if I take it lightly.
So I rushed the room and ask the mother exactly what she told Jude.
But she ignored me, opening the food, acting like someone who had been extremely hungry.
Seeing that she wasn’t saying anything, I decided to tell Jude exactly what happened, but I first lashed him for not hearing my own side of the story. Atleast, demand for an explanation and not just concluding things base on what his mother said.
“I kept asking her if she would like me to prepare something for her, but she didn’t reply, only for her to tell me that, you are already married with kid, that I’m dreaming thinking I will become your wife”
“Mama?” he called her in a loud angry tone, without allowing me finish the words in my mouth.
He got upset immediately hearing that his mother informed me he was already married. And his attitude spurred me to ask him if it was actually true that he was married, but he didn’t reply me, he faced his mother asking her why she had to do that, if she was trying to destroy his marriage
“Don’t tell me you came here to put sand in my marriage?”
“Yes Jude…someone needs to tell her the truth” she snapped, dropping the food by the side
“You haven’t answered my question, are you really married?” I asked him, demanding for immediate explanation, praying and wishing for the answer to be no, that he wasn’t, but he zoomed off the room, without replying me.
I had to rush after him, feeling that my world was about crumbling again.
Not another heartbreak.
Not another failed relationship
And I checked, age was no longer on my side.
I got so desperate for the response to be that, he wasn’t married.
I went to him in the room and asked him, to please explain what his mother meant by being married.
And he angrily referred me back to his mother, saying that I should have her explain to me if he was married, that since she was the one who said it, that she should do best by explaining to me what she meant by, him being married.
But I had to let him know that, I was serious. How can they be playing with such serious joke like that. It was an expensive joke to play with.
I had to draw his attention aggressively and had him explain what his mother meant otherwise, I will accept that he was already married and quit everything. So, seeing that I was serious and meant what I said, he decided to calm me down, saying that he had something he would like to share with me.
That being the only son, his mother went and married him a girl.
That he was so against the idea, but his mother went anyway and did it. He was 21 years when it happened and his mother threatened to kill herself if he refused to sleep with the girl and get her pregnant.
Due to the fear of not loosing his mother, the only support he had, he had to do what she was demanding.
And that was how he found himself in that situation.
He never for oneday accepted the girl as his wife.
He said he already discussed this with his mother, about marrying another woman whom his heart chooses, that she should return the girl to her family, that the mother already accepted, that he was surprised to see that, she was about breaking his relationship with me.
After everything, I was able to confirm that he was married, but he wasn’t into the girl. He was forced into it, against his will.
To summarise my story, that enough didn’t make me stop loving him. Our wedding is fixed for this December. All his mother’s effort to see that, the marriage doesn’t work failed woefully.
I know she will be waiting for me to finally enter her family, but I don’t care, because I’m ready for her.
Which ever way she would want to fight me, either physically, spiritually, I will be ready for her.
Here comes the end of my story. I will be back to gist you how the wedding went and including the drama she must have played.
Thank you for reading.
