Where is Kennedy?
Kennedy, a young graphic designer and from (name of origin witheld) of Nigeria. He relocated to Ebonyi State in search of greener pasture.
Luck shining on him, he landed a job with one of the leading printing companies in the state. His pay was handsome, according to him, and was satisfied with the job.
Few months later, he fell into the charming sight of Gloria who is from, (name of origin witheld) and their spirits clicked together, and hence, love at first sight came to life.
Kennedy was 27 years old at the time, while Gloria, 24.
And the new love kept advancing and developed to a stage of capturing a seed. Gloria became pregnant.
She was terrified after the lab result confirmed she was pregnant.
Her thoughts, Kennedy never discussed marriage with her and the idea of terminating a pregnancy never crossed her mind. She wasn’t ready for the new arrangement her life was about to set for her.
She then took a deep breath and picked her phone and dialed Kennedy’s smartphone number. The phone was ringing through, then it brushed her mind that such news should be best broken face to face and shouldn’t be a phone thing.
She was about disconnecting the call when Kennedy’s voice interrupted from the other end.
“My life” the love name he calls her
And Gloria answered “yes”, without replying with her own unique love name for him. And this made Kennedy to realise that, something was up.
Kennedy loved Gloria and was ready to give up his own life for her.
He then gently asked, “tell me, what’s the problem?”
“I’m fine, I only called to check up on you and to hear your voice. How are you doing?” She asked, trying to maintain a calm voice
But Kennedy wasn’t buying it. He knew something was troubling her and he won’t be comfortable if he doesn’t have a clue to what it could be.
But Gloria maintained she was fine and then ended the call.
She felt her heart troubled and racing.
She loved Kennedy and her heart would shatter if she breaks the news to him and he suggests aborting the child. And she then fell on the thought of telling him about it and see his reaction or just keep it to herself and get rid of the child, without Kennedy of having a wind of what happened.
She was so confused, but the thought of not telling Kennedy and aborting the child was ringing louder.
