Bitter heart of my EX – episode 1 – a story by Ngozi Lovelyn
Crayfish originally, isn’t bent, but condition made it so.
People are not originally wicked, but situation made them so.
Can you blame me for going extra miles for love? I thought love is also giving, sharing and sacrificing?
I gave him my best, my time, my resources.
And was it on bed? I made sure I updated my styles, to spice up our love life and make it exciting and not boring.
But when it was time to settle down, what did I get? He left me and got married to a girl he claimed his mother found for him.
His excuse? The girl had been the one taking care of his mother, fetching water and fire wood for her, cleaning the house and helping her with cooking.
The girl was already fulfilling the duties of a daughter inlaw and for that, she had gotten worthy of being a wife to him, provided with his mother’s approval, which made it a sealed deal to be a wife to him.
So because she was fetching water for your mother? Because she was fetching firewood for your mother? You should have given me the opportunity, I would have loaded a truck of firewood for her. I would have filled a tanker of water for her. I would have highered a nanny to be helping her with cooking and chores.
You see, you had no tangible reason for what you did.
You also made it worst by keeping me in your house and lied you were travelling to the village for a friend’s wedding, and because I was so into you and trusted you with every nerve in me, I never got a hint you went to pay the bride price of another girl.
And when I confronted you, you said, “it’s because, you don’t want to loose me. You prefer to still keep me in your life”
In a nutshell, I was good for friendship and not perfect for marriage.
Well, that is OK.
He said, he never wanted to loose me.
I accept. He won’t loose me. I will still be in his life.
We can see how this drama will play out.
Ok Guys, I started a new story, should I continue?
